11+ Great Costco Dinner Ideas Your Family Will Love!

Here is a great list of Costco Dinner Ideas for Families to give you a little inspiration for getting your crowd fed! Let’s take some of the stress out of dinner time and let the magic of Costco make our lives a little easier 🙂

Costco has more than enough dinner options for you to choose from so I hope this list helps you come up with a game plan.

Costco Take and Bake Meals

These are some of the classics and the reason that many of us sign up for Costco memberships in the first place.

When you serve these meals with sides such as roasted vegetables, salad, garlic bread, etc they will easily feed 6 people.  The meals usually take about an hour to heat up in the oven.

Some of the favorites in our house include:

  • Chicken Alfredo
  • Chicken Enchilada Bake
  • Ravioli Lasagna
  • Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes

Heat and Eat Curries

A fast, easy and delicious dinner idea from Costco are the “Heat and Eat” curries. My warehouse always carries a few options from the brands Sukhi’s and Kevin.

These curries are usually extremely flavorful and are not spicy.  The flavors and styles of curry changes on a regular basis but they are usually all pretty tasty.

The curries typically come in two pouches with each pouch holding a pound of meat and sauce (two pounds total).  You can heat these fully cooked curries in the microwave then serve with rice, flatbreads and perhaps a side of steamed veggies.

Master Carve Ham

When it comes to an easy dinner from Costco it is hard to beat the Master Carve Ham.  The ham is easily heated in the oven and can even be served cold if desired.

You can pick up a tray of Kirkland Mac n Cheese or a package of Ressler’s Scalloped Potatoes to have some carbs in your meal.  Grab a bag of salad mix from the produce section and a couple baguettes from the bakery and you have a full dinner ready to go!

Heck, you could even just slice this guy up and serve a bunch of ham sandwiches and nobody would be mad.

Oven Browned Turkey Breast

Everything we said about the Master Carve Ham is the same for the Kirkland Oven Browned Turkey Breast.  The turkey is fully cooked and tastes great hot or cold.

Serve with mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, salad, steamed veggies, rolls, etc.

Kirkland Frozen Lasagna

How about a big pan of Costco Lasagna for dinner?

The Kirkland frozen lasagna can be heated in the oven or microwave and, at three pounds, is large enough to feed your family and probably have leftovers.

I cook the lasagna in the microwave and am always surprised by how well it turns out!  The lasagna is packed with plenty of meat and cheese and the sauce is delicious.

Serve this with a bag of salad and some garlic bread.

Go grab yourself a rotisserie chicken and then check out this full article I wrote on 15 Great Rotisserie Chicken Dinner Recipes.

You can usually get about two pounds of meat off of a Costco rotisserie chicken which is more than enough to make two really hearty dinners.

Kirkland Pulled Pork for BBQ Sandwiches

You can make a bunch of barbecue sandwiches for dinner with the Kirkland Smoked Pulled Pork!  There are two pounds of meat per container which, assuming you use 1/3 pound per sandwich, will make six large sandwiches.

The meat heats easily in the microwave.

Get some large buns add the meat and top with Cole slaw for a classic pulled pork sandwich.  Serve with a side of potato salad and corn on the cob.

Kirkland Beef Pot Roast

The Kirkland Beef Pot Roast is a great option to put a hearty dinner on the table FAST.  The pot roast is fully cooked and can be heated in the microwave in about ten minutes.

Serve the pot roast over mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles. A side of veggies and a dinner roll to soak up the gravy will make dinner complete.

Garlic Butter Shrimp

You should only get this for dinner if you really want your family to love you.  This shrimp is coated in an enormous amount of garlic butter sauce so you really will want to serve it over a big plate of rice or pasta.

Serve this with something light on the side (steamed veggies?) to help cut the richness of the sauce.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

Ravioli

Costco usually carries a great selection of raviolis that make for an easy and delicious dinner.  Our favorites include:

  • Spinach and Cheese
  • Chicken and Cheese
  • Italian Sausage
  • Lobster

Make sure you pick up some pasta sauce as well.  I can highly recommend the Kirkland Pesto or Rao’s Marinara.

Serve with a side salad and garlic bread.

Pizza

If all else fails then just swing by Costco’s Food Court and pick up a giant pepperoni pizza!

A Costco pizza straight out of the oven is so much better than what you get from a chain store like Dominoes and is also much more affordable.
