Cauliflower Pizza Cooking Instructions

The packaging provides instructions for how to bake the pizza in the oven, given below, and they work great.  We have also played around and cooked the pizza in our Ninja Foodi Air Fryer and have instructions for that as well.

If you want to make this pizza “over the top delicious” then I suggest adding a dollop of sour cream as a topping after it comes out of the oven!

Oven Cooking Instructions

The baking instructions for the pizza are pretty simple and we follow what is printed on the box.

  1.  Pre-heat your oven to 425F.
  2.  Remove the pizza from the box/packaging
  3.   Place the pizza directly on the center rack in your oven
  4.   Bake the pizza for 17-19 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.

Let the pizza cool for a few minutes, slice it up and dig in!

Do not thaw the pizza before cooking and do not use a baking sheet.

Air Fryer Cooking Instructions

You will need a full sized air fryer to cook this pizza.  We have the Ninja Foodi and the pizza just fits on the upper wire mesh tray.   The air fryer cooking instructions are:

  1. Set your air fryer to 400F
  2. Remove the pizza from the box/packaging
  3. Place the pizza into the air fryer
  4. Cook the pizza for 10 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.

Let the pizza cool for a minute, slice and enjoy!

Kirkland Cauliflower Pizza Taste Test!

Let’s get started with the most important question, “How does the pizza taste?”

The pizza tastes great.

The toppings go from edge to edge and are not skimpy at all.  Lots of sausage and pepperoni, plenty of cheese and a pile of veggies.  The veggies include:

  • Bell Peppers (Red, Yellow, Green)
  • Mushrooms
  • Onions
  • Zucchini

The crust is thin and crispy which is just how I like it.  My wife, who loves a thick, doughy crust would not be a fan 🙂  The taste of cauliflower is present but it is not overwhelming.

Overall I suggest you think of this as a solid frozen Supreme Pizza that just happens to have a cauliflower crust.

Calories in the Pizza

The important thing to realize about this pizza is that the use of cauliflower makes this a Gluten Free product.

The pizza is NOT a low carb or a low calorie meal.

A single serving of the pizza is two slices (1/4 of the pizza) and has the following nutritional information:

  • Calories: 310
  • Fat: 15g (19% DV)
  • Cholesterol: 45mg (15% DV)
  • Sodium: 900mg (39% DV)
  • Carbohydrates: 31g (11% DV)
  • Protein: 14g

As far as pizza goes this is healthier than most other options.

Gluten Free Side Dishes to Serve with the Pizza

Here are some gluten-free side dishes that would pair well with this gluten-free frozen pizza:

Mixed Green Salad

A simple mixed green salad with fresh lettuce, spinach, arugula, or other leafy greens, along with sliced vegetables like cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and carrots, can be a  light side dish to go with the pizza. You can dress it with a gluten-free vinaigrette or a balsamic glaze.

Roasted Vegetables

Roasting vegetables is a great way to bring out their natural sweetness and add a burst of flavor to your meal. Try roasting a mix of colorful vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, and cherry tomatoes tossed in olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Garlic and Herb Roasted Potatoes

Toss quartered or diced potatoes with minced garlic, chopped fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, and parsley, along with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast them in the oven until crispy and golden brown for a flavorful and satisfying gluten-free side dish.

Caprese Salad

Fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, and basil leaves drizzled with balsamic glaze or a gluten-free Italian dressing make up a classic Caprese salad. It’s a refreshing side dish that goes great with the flavors of the pizza while adding a burst of freshness.

Quinoa Salad

Quinoa is a protein-packed gluten-free grain that can be used to make a delicious and nutritious salad. Toss cooked quinoa with diced vegetables like bell peppers, red onion, cucumber, and herbs like cilantro or parsley. Dress it with a gluten-free vinaigrette for a satisfying and wholesome side dish.

Costco carries a quinoa salad in the deli coolers that appears to be gluten free and is very tasty!

Steamed or Sautéed Vegetables

Steamed or sautéed vegetables like broccoli, green beans, or asparagus can be a simple yet healthy side dish. Season them with a little garlic, lemon juice, and salt for added flavor.

Remember to always check ingredient labels to ensure that all the ingredients you use in your side dishes are gluten-free, as some products may contain hidden sources of gluten.

The Kirkland Cauliflower Pizza is a Good Value

Costco is selling these as a package of two large pizzas for $11.99 which works out to a cost of about $6 per pizza.

I will go out on a limb and say that spending $6 on a pretty decent frozen pizza that is halfway healthy is a nice deal.  If you are unsure about these pizzas then head over to the boxed food section and check out the Molinaro Cauliflower Pizza Kit for a little price comparison as those are also excellent.

  1. 5 stars
Recent changes to the crust make it much thicker than previous, not good.

Recent pizzas have ALL toppings slid to one side under the plastic and have to be repositioned.

The cardboard beneath the pizza is misssing and create a cutting problem.

Pizza was wonderful. The above items are very disapointing.
