I bought a box of Kirkland Signature Everything Seasoning Breaded Cod from the freezer section at Costco. These are frozen cod filets that are coated in a breading that is flavored with the classic “Everything Bagel” seasoning blend and I was curious how the product would taste.

Cooking Instructions
The packaging provides cooking instructions for using an oven or air fryer. There are no instructions provided for using a microwave.
To cook the cod in the oven the instructions are:
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- Line baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Place frozen fish on the foil.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Flip the fish.
- Bake for 10-15 more minutes until an internal temperature of 145F is reached.
- Let cool and serve.
Air Fryer Cooking Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 390F.
- Place 3-4 pieces of cod in the air fryer.
- Fry for 9-11 minutes until an internal temperature of 145F is reached.
- Let cool and serve.
I cooked the cod in my Ninja Foodi air fryer according to these directions and the fish was great.
Taste
I cooked up a couple of pieces of the cod and had them for lunch along with some green beans seasoned with a touch of Cholula hot sauce.
The breading was the dominant flavor and I liked the crispy texture. The breading is seasoned with sesame, garlic, onion and poppy seeds which gives it a satisfying, savory flavor profile. The fish itself was mild and flaky without a strong “fishy” flavor.
My main impression is that this product is 80% about the breading and 20% about the fish.
I liked this cod a hundred times more than the Trident Brand Beer Battered Cod I got at Costco a while back.
The fish and veggies made for a nice lunch.
The packaging suggests that you can also serve these as an appetizer or finger food which I thought was an interesting idea!

Price of Everything Seasoned Breaded Cod at Costco
I bought the 2.5 pound bag of frozen cod filets at Costco for $17.89 which works out to a price of $7.15 per pound. You get about 14 servings per bag which means one serving costs you about $1.27.
This cod is reasonable priced and is in the same price range as some other nice fish options at Costco including the barramundi and mahi mahi.
At this price I think you are getting a fair value, especially since these are an incredibly easy to prepare weeknight meal solution.
Not sure about this one. I tried the Hook Line and Savor Everything Crusted Cod next to the Kirkland. It was very good, but the novelty of the Everything seasoning wore off at the end of the package.
