This is the exact same sauce that Costco includes in their Chicken Street Taco Kits at the deli so I did the obvious thing and put the sauce on a few homemade chicken tacos!
The sauce is a delicious and tangy condiment that adds a huge burst of flavor. It has a creamy texture with a perfect balance of fresh cilantro and zesty lime flavors. The taste is a harmonious blend of creamy, tangy, and herbaceous notes that create are just tasty as heck.
The crema sauce has a rich and velvety consistency, with a slight tanginess from the lime juice that adds a bright and refreshing element. The cilantro adds a fresh and herbaceous flavor along with a touch of earthiness. The combination of cilantro and lime creates flavor profile that is refreshing and provides a welcome contrast to rich and savory flavors.
So yeah..it rocks on chicken tacos!

Other Serving Ideas for the Sauce
You can use this sauce for a lot more than just tacos. Having multiple uses is a good thing because the “Use By” date on the bottles is about six weeks after the product is stocked so it isn’t going to last and you will need to use it up.
The label suggests the using it on:
- Protein Bowls
- Grilled Corn
- Grilled Seafood
The sauce is primarily sour cream so think about using it as a sour cream substitute. In this case the sauce would also be tasty on:
- Baked Potatoes
- Used as a Chicken Wing Dip
