The Nature’s Intent Keto Bombs at Costco are Great for Chocolate Lovers!

Costco is overflowing with different brands of keto friendly snacks and I have been having fun trying as many as I can.  The latest snack to make it to my kitchen was the Nature’s Intent Dark Chocolate Keto Bombs with seeds and nuts.

This snack is nothing like I expected and was not my favorite simply due to personal preferences.  I believe many people, especially chocolate lovers, will absolutely love these Costco keto bombs.

Taste Test!

The snacks are essentially a small bar of dark chocolate with a thin layer of nut and seed topping.

The chocolate is topped with almonds, pecans and coconut while the dark chocolate is blended with almond butter for creaminess.

Personally I was hoping for something more along the lines of a nut/seed snack that was held together with a dark chocolate binder.  More specifically, I was hoping for something that had a crunchy texture that would be fun to munch on.

Instead, this snack is a big mouthful of creamy chocolate with a little bit of crunchiness thrown in almost as an afterthought.

If you are a serious chocolate lover then this will be a great snack for you. I am pretty neutral on chocolate so this was an overload of the chocolate flavor profile for me.

Costco Value

I bought the 12.35 ounce package of these snacks for $9.99 at Costco which works out to a cost of $0.809 per ounce.

You can buy this same bag of snacks from Walmart for $22.98 which  works out to a cost of $1.86 per ounce.

This means that you will save $1.05 per ounce (56%) when you buy these snacks at Costco.

Other Keto Friendly Options at Costco

The Costco Keto Nuggets from Innofoods are also tasty but have more net carbs than these keto bombs.  In addition to having more carbs they also contain cane sugar which makes their keto credentials questionable.

The Keto Coconut Clusters from Innofoods are in the same boat as their Keto Nuggets in that the carbs are a little elevated due to the use of cane sugar.  That being said, they do taste good!

Costco is selling a two loaf pack of Keto Bread from Sola that is pretty decent.  Each slice of the bread only has 1 Net Carb and is slightly sweet, not dry and works great for sandwiches.

  1. Thank you for sharing a wonderful review. I bought them and was ecstatic that there was more chocolate than nuts, as pictured on the packaging. I can’t eat Splenda or aspartame, and I’ve been avoiding as much dairy as possible. These are a perfect treat for this chocolate lover!

  2. I absolutely love Costco. Except for one major thing. They are notorious for getting something “new” and I discover I really like it. Then it disappears from the store leaving me feeling like I have been robbed somehow. That’s true in this case. The Bombs from Nature’s Intent are really good and satisfying with pretty much no sugar. I have had to ration them because a week after I bought a couple of bags at Costco I went back and they are gone. I just ate the last one and have a strong case of “Costco resentment”.

I never really get used to this happening.
