Costco is selling a two loaf pack of Keto Bread from Sola. The bread is advertised as being “Sweet and Buttery” with only 1 net gram of carbs per slice.
Taste Test!
When I tried a plain slice of the bread I was impressed that it lived up to the labelling. The bread has a touch of sweetness and a texture that is almost buttery after a few chews.
The bread is a little bit on the dry side but only to the point that it is barely worth mentioning.
I made a few sandwiches with sliced roast beef, Swiss cheese, Kewpie mayonnaise and yellow heirloom tomato. The bread held up well and the moisture from the mayo and tomato more than made up for any dryness in the bread.
My only two complaints about the bread are:
- Small Slices
- Flimsy Packaging
The slices are about 30% smaller than a regular slice of sandwich bread which made me feel like I was eating diet food. In all honesty it probably a good idea to reduce portion size given how largeness of my belly 🙂
The one thing I really don’t like is the flimsy plastic wrapper. After you open one of these loaves you will have to store it in a one gallon Ziploc bag if you want it to stay fresh. The plastic that the loaf comes in is so thin and flimsy there is no way you can reseal it.
Overall, if I was serious about following a Keto diet, I would buy this bread again. However, I am not a Keto type of guy and prefer tastier breads like Costco Artisan Rolls for my everyday use.

It is worth noting that the bread does include sugar alcohols which can cause upset stomachs in sensitive individuals.
Price at Costco
The Sola Keto Bread is Item Number 1482698 and is found on the warehouse shelves with the regular sliced breads and gluten free bread.
You get two 14 ounce loaves of bread per package for $6.99 which comes out to about $3.50 per loaf.
This is a decent price for a keto bread that is actually enjoyable.
