Taste Test!
The shrimp has a zesty and tangy flavor profile. The cilantro adds a fresh and bright note, while the lime juice adds tanginess and acidity.
The combination of cilantro and lime creates a refreshing and vibrant taste that pairs well with the natural sweetness of the shrimp. The shrimp itself is savory and slightly sweet, with a tender and juicy texture.
Overall, this is a flavorful and aromatic dish that balances the richness of the shrimp with the freshness of cilantro and the tanginess of lime.
My favorite way of using the shrimp was to toss them in with the riced cauliflower stir fry from Tattooed Chef that I picked up in the freezer section of Costco. The cilantro and lime marinade paired extremely well with the sesame and ginger seasoning of the fried rice and made for and incredibly filling low calorie meal.

How Long do the Shrimp Last?
The marinated shrimp do not freeze well so you need to consume them within a few days of purchase.
There is a “Sell By” date on the package that is always for three days after the shrimp was prepared and placed in the deli cooler. You will want to consume the shrimp by 4 days after the Sell By date.
It’s probably safe to keep them longer than 4 days past the Sell By date but the quality will have suffered. If you haven’t eaten them all by now then you probably didn’t like them very much in the first place. Toss them!

Costco Value
The ready to eat marinated shrimp are Item Number 41398 and cost $9.99 per pound.
You get about 1.25 pounds of shrimp per container so expect to pay about $12-13 for the meal.
This is just about the same per pound cost of frozen 40 count shrimp so the fact that they have already been cooked and marinated makes them a bargain in my book.
