The Asian Chicken Wraps at Costco Are Delicious {Calories and Nutrition Inside!}

I made the mistake(?) of shopping at Costco right before lunch time and ended up grabbing the Asian Wrap with Rotisserie Chicken and Dressing from the deli case.  I hadn’t planned on buying my lunch at Costco but, hey, it happens sometimes.

It turns out that these wraps are pretty good as long as you buy them on the same day they were prepared.

Costco Asian Chicken Wrap

Ingredients

These wraps contain chunks of rotisserie chicken with a broccoli slaw, almonds and lo mein noodles wrapped in a spinach tortilla.  You also get a side container of a sesame dressing.

The broccoli slaw contains:

  • Green cabbage
  • Broccoli
  • Red cabbage
  • Carrots

There are no green onions or cilantro in the wrap.

Asian Wrap Ingredients

Calories

A single serving is 1/2 of a wrap and you get four servings per container.

A single serving of the wraps WITHOUT the dressing have:

  • 335 Calories
  • 35 g Carbohydrates
  • 11 g Fat
  • 21 g Protein

Adding the dressing to the wraps raises the calories to 480 per serving and increase the fat content to 25 g.

Taste

I really enjoyed both the flavor and texture of the wraps.  The crunch from the low main noodles was an unexpected treat and the inclusion the nutty almond slivers almost felt decadent.  There was plenty of chicken although some of the individual chunks were a little too large.

The wraps are a little dry on their own and a drizzling of the sesame dressing makes a big difference.  The nice thing about the wraps being a little dry is that it helps the lo mein noodles stay crunchy.

You get a LOT of food with these wraps and I had planned on splitting them up over the course of three days for lunch.  What I discovered was that the wraps were great on the first day but deteriorated in quality over the next two as the lo mein noodles eventually got soggy and lost their crunch.

Comments and Questions from Other Costco Shoppers

I had fun checking out the different Facebook groups to see what other folks were saying about these wraps.  A big theme seemed to be that folks thought the wraps were okay/good but that the dressing was amazing.  Some typical comments are posted below.

  • The dressing is good. I’m not sure I like the wrap too much.
  • I just had it for lunch yesterday, I think I just eat it for the dressing.
  • Wish they would give more dressing. One container isn’t enough.

There were also questions about storing and preparing the wraps.  More specifically, you should not freeze these wraps for later use and you do not need to cook the wraps or heat them up.
