We bought a box of Skinny Pop Popcorn at Costco a while back that contained 28 individual bags of popcorn. Each bag of popcorn has 100 calories and we figured that this was a great way to do some calorie controlled snacking in the evenings.
Let’s take a closer look at this box full of tasty snacking to see if it is something that you might want to try.

Taste
My results with this popcorn have been mixed.
Sometimes I get a bag that is crunchy, lighted salted and delicious. These bags taste like the tagline on the bag announces, “Pure Popped Perfection.”
Other times I get a bag that is stale, mushy and tasteless.
I have gotten both types of bags out of the same box.
I really wish that I could tell you that this was amazing popcorn but given the inconsistency I just can’t do that. I will say that if you get a bag that is fresh and crunchy then I believe you will enjoy it very much.
The Popcorn is a Costco Value
Be aware that what you are really buying when you purchase this product is portion control. You can save a lot of money by making your own popcorn but then you will probably end up eating 3-4 servings as you eat handful after handful from the bowl.
We bought a box with 28 bags of popcorn for $12.99 at Costco. This works out to a cost of $0.464 per bag.
You can buy the exact same box at Sam’s Club for $12.98.
A six pack of these bags will cost you $5.99 at Target for a price of $0.99 per bag.
So, you are getting a MASSIVE discount when you buy the Skinny Pop popcorn at Costco or Sam’s Club compared to buying it at Target.
We buy this popcorn often and this large bag of original flavor is so salty we can hardly eat it. All the others were salted just right.
we purchase Skinny Pop allllll the time for years we loved it , we recently purchased , some new Skinny Pop , it taste terrible, I had thrown away the previous bag, so I could not compare the older bag to the newer bag (looking for changes) I actually could not eat the new popcorn, it made me gag, my husband finished the bowl he had, he eats anything. I loved the first(original) Skinny popcorn, and even got several neighbors & friends to start enjoying it also, I sincerely hope whatever you changed you change back .
We purchase the Skinny Pop from Costco, and average 2- 3 bags a week , I honestly can not eat the newer version 🙁
Sincerely, Tricia
