Every now and then I will pick up some random snacks at Costco just to try something different.
In general, I try to stay away from the junk food and pick up some of the healthier looking snacks which is how I ended up with a bag of Rhythm Organic Cauliflower Bites in my shopping cart.
After I tried the product I had mixed feelings. I will not be buying them again but that isn’t because it is a bad product.

Calories, Nutrition, Ingredients
These cauliflower bites are made from:
- Cauliflower florets
- Sunflower oil
- Salt
- Maltodextrin
The bites are certified Organic, Non GMO, Vegan and Gluten Free.
A single serving (1 ounce) of the bites have the following nutritional information:
- Calories: 150
- Fat: 9g (11% DV)
- Cholesterol: 0mg
- Sodium: 135mg (6%DV)
- Carbohydrates: 16g (6% DV)
- Protein: 2g
At first I was confused by these snacks as I thought they were meant to be Keto Friendly, etc. When I checked out the company’s website though I learned that this was not the case. These guys are just into making healthy, nutrient dense, plant based tasty snack alternatives
Taste
Let me start with the positive side of things and give credit to Rhythm for making an honest product that tastes and looks exactly as advertised.
These bites are whole cauliflower florets that have undergone a mild dehydration/frying and are lightly seasoned with salt and a slightly sweet dusting of maltodextrin. The bites are savory, have a delightful crunch and have the potential to be very snackable.
The packaging also states that they start with 2.5 pounds of fresh cauliflower to produce the 5.75 ounces of bites that are in each bag. Which, when you do the math, means that the cauliflower flavor has been concentrated by 85%.
The bad side is….these bites taste like lightly seasoned cauliflower florets that have had their flavor concentrated by 85% and that is way too intense for me.
I really want to like these snacks.
I like that these are identifiable pieces of cauliflower as opposed to the processed cauliflower crisps at Trader Joes. I love cauliflower and routinely have a riced cauliflower stir fry for dinner.
But these cauliflower bites are just too much cauliflower for me to handle.
Price
Currently you can buy a 5.75 ounce bag of the Organic Cauliflower Bites at Costco for $7.99 which works out to $1.39 per ounce.
I have seen the same product for sale at Walmart for $15.90 which makes buying it at Costco a no brainer.
I can’t get enough of these cauliflower bits I keep having my niece to get them for me cuz I’m not a member It wouldn’t pay me to belong to Cosgo cuz I’m single I’d like to know how I can get these without be coming a member and keep bothering my niece to get them for me What do I have to do ???
