Costco is selling Tru Fru Chocolate Covered Strawberries and they are a tasty and interesting snack!
The strawberries in this snack are freeze dried before being covered in chocolate and are shelf stable. This gives them a similar flavor, but very different texture, as the frozen Tru Fru snacks that are made with fresh berries.
This is Item Number 1557929 and is found near the front of the store in the candy/nut section.
Taste Test
My wife and I both agree that the Tru Fru chocolate covered strawberries taste great. The chocolate is rich, decadent and forms a thick shell around the strawberry. The strawberry adds a delightful touch of sweetness as a finishing note and tastes like this classic combination should.

What will make or break this snack for you is how you feel about the texture of the freeze dried strawberry. I liked the little bit of crunch the strawberry offers but some folks have a hard time getting used to it 🙂

I was able to buy a one pound bag of Tru Fru Chocolate Covered Strawberries for $9.99 at Costco which comes out to a cost of $0.624 an ounce.
You can buy a smaller bag of these snacks, 4.2 ounces, at Target for $5.39 which comes out to a cost of $1.28 per ounce.
This means that you will save $0.659 per ounce (51%) when you buy your Tru Fru at Costco!
Considering the quality of the chocolate and the convenience of having them be shelf stable I consider these snacks to be a pretty nice bargain.
