Cooking Instructions
In general there are two main ways of serving these wontons:
- On a tray with your choice of dipping sauce.
- In a bowl of broth for a savory wonton soup.
At my house we skip the soup and dunk them into sauce!
Bibigo suggests heating the wontons by any of the following methods:
- Pan fry with a little oil for about 5 minutes.
- Simmer in boiling water for 1-2 minutes
- Microwaving, wrapped in damp paper towels, for 2 minutes.
I like a little bit of crunch on my wontons so I heat them up in my Ninja Foodi air fryer at 450 for 7 minutes.

Notes
Taste Test!
I think these wontons are delicious! They are the perfect size for a one bite snack and the filling is incredibly flavorful and savory. Even though there are two types of onions, as well as leeks, in the filling, the onion flavor is extremely mild. What I really taste is the chicken and cabbage.
Of course, your choice of dipping sauce is a major component in how these wontons taste and that is something that is missing from the bag. These wontons do NOT come with a dipping sauce so you will need to make your own.
I make a sauce that is 3 parts teriyaki and 1 part sriracha. You could go as simple as soy sauce and I bet either a sweet chili sauce or orange duck sauce would also be incredible.
These are not the best wontons in the world but they are good enough for me!
Costco Value
The 48 ounce bag of wontons at Costco for $9.99 which works out to a cost of $0.208 per ounce.
You can buy a 24 ounce bag of these wontons at Target for $6.99 which works out to a cost of $0.291 per ounce.
This means that you will save $0.083 per ounce (about 40%) by purchasing the larger bag at Costco. Since you can easily store any unused wontons in the freezer it makes a ton of sense to buy these at Costco instead of a traditional retailer.
Location
The wontons are Item Number 638854 and they are located in the freezer section of the warehouse.
Usually these are located by the other frozen dumplings and Asian foods but Costco promotes these pretty heavily so they are often found in the endcap of the freezers so more shoppers see them.
The wontons are not seasonal so if you don’t see them then they are just out of stock and will be replenished soon.
Just Perfect
I love the taste
