Method
- Lightly salt and then dewater the grated cucumber.
- Add the grated cucumber to the Greek yogurt along with the other Tzatziki sauce ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for one hour.
- Remove the gyro slices from one of the packages and heat through in a skillet over Medium High heat for about 5 minutes.
- Thinly slice the cucumber, onion and tomato.
- Assemble the gyro in the pita and top with the chilled Tzatziki sauce.
