Traeger Smoked Spam Burnt Ends

A can of low sdium Spam is cut into one inch cubes and then seasoned with Traeger's Everything Rub. The cubes are smoked on a Traeger pellet grill then sauced with a sweet bbq sauce before being served.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can Low Sodium Spam
  • 16 oz Sweet BBQ Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Traeger Anything Rub

Equipment

  • Aluminum Foil Pan 9x9x2 inches
  • Traeger Pellet Grill

Method
 

  1. Remove the Low Sodium Spam from the can and cut into 16 one inch cubes.
  2. Place the Spam cubes into the foil pan and toss with the dry rub until evenly coated.
  3. Turn on your Traeger grill and set the temperature to 275F.
  4. Put the Spam cubes onto the grill grate and smoke for one hour.
  5. Return the Spam cubes to the foil an and coat with the bbq sauce.
  6. Put the pan on the smoker and cook for another hour.
  7. Remove the foil pan from the Traeger and serve!

Notes

It is important to use a low sodium Spam for this recipe or else the end product will be too salty.
