Rana Italian Sausage Ravioli With Marinara

A package or Rana Italian Sausage Ravioli was simmered in water, drained then served with marinara, grated cheese and garlic bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tray Rana Italian Sausage Ravioli 18 ounces
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce (Rao's)
  • 3 tbls Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 loaf Garlic Bread

Equipment

  • 1 8 quart stock pot

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425F and cook the garlic bread according to package directions.
  2. Bring six quarts of water to a boil, reduce to a simmer and add a pinch of salt.
  3. Add the ravioli to the simmering water and allow to cook for four minutes.
  4. Drain the ravioli and toss with warmed marinara sauce and cheese.
  5. Serve the pasta with the garlic bread and a side salad if desired.

Notes

Rana suggests using a simple sauce of either melted butter or olive oil.  The pasta is delicious with marinara but I don't think it would work well with an Alfredo style sauce.
