Costco's Spiral Sliced Ham Cooking Instructions

A spiral sliced ham from Costco is placed in a baking dish, wrapped in foil and cooked until warm and delicious. This is a very easy recipe!

Ingredients
  

  • 7-11 lbs Costco Spiral Sliced Ham
  • 1 packet Ham Glaze Included with ham
  • 3 tbsp Water for the glaze
  • 1/2 cup Water, Apple Juice or Pineapple Juice Optional

Equipment

  • Shallow Baking Dish
  • Aluminum Foil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 275F.
  2. Remove the ham from the plastic packaging. Place in a shallow baking dish with the flat side of the ham DOWN.
  3. OPTIONAL: Add 1/2 cup of apple or pineapple juice to the dish for extra flavor.
  4. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  5. Place the ham in the oven and bake for two hours or until an internal temperature of 140F is reached.
  6. Prepare the glaze by mixing the content of the Ham Gaze packet with three tablespoons of water. Heat the mix in the microwave until hot and bubbly (60-90 seconds) stirring every 30 seconds.
  7. Remove the ham from the oven and CAREFULLY pour off any excess liquid.
  8. Raise the temperature of the oven to 425F.
  9. Apply the glaze to the ham getting it between as many of the ham slices as possible.
  10. Place the glazed ham, uncovered, into the 425F oven for 10 minutes.
  11. Remove the ham from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
