Aidells Chicken Apple Sausage with Peppers and Onions

A package of Aidells Chicken Apple Sausage from Costco is sautéed with peppers and onions then served with rice and veggies for a delicious, healthy dinner.

- 2 cups Uncooked White Rice
- 1 Sweet Onion
- 1 Red Bell Pepper
- 4 cups Frozen Vegetables
Bring four cups of water to a simmer, add the rice, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is done.
Slice chicken sausages into medallions and roughly chop the onion and red bell pepper (remove seeds first).
Add onions, peppers and sausage to a skillet and heat over medium heat stirring often.
Sautee the mix until the sausages medallions are browned and the peppers and onions are tender (~15 minutes).
Steam frozen vegetables until warm and tender.
Serve the sausage and peppers with the rice and veggies.
