Notes

There are several delicious side dishes that pair well with chicken pot pie. Here are a few suggestions:

Roasted Vegetables

Roast a mix of your favorite vegetables, such as carrots, peas, green beans, and potatoes, tossed in olive oil and seasoned with salt, pepper, and herbs. The caramelized flavors of roasted vegetables complement the creamy and savory chicken pot pie filling.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Creamy mashed potatoes with a hint of roasted garlic make a wonderful side dish for chicken pot pie. The rich and comforting flavors of the mashed potatoes enhance the creamy chicken filling of the pot pie.

Mixed Greens Salad

A simple mixed greens salad with a tangy vinaigrette can provide a refreshing contrast to the richness of chicken pot pie. Use a variety of fresh greens, such as lettuce, spinach, and arugula, and toss with a light dressing for a burst of freshness.

Steamed Asparagus

Lightly steamed asparagus spears tossed in lemon butter or garlic butter can provide a crisp and refreshing side dish for chicken pot pie. The bright flavors of asparagus can help cut through the richness of the pot pie filling.

Cranberry Sauce

Tangy and slightly sweet cranberry sauce can add a burst of acidity and contrast to the creamy pot pie. The vibrant color and flavors of cranberry sauce can be a great addition to your meal.
