The Primal Kitchen Chicken Panang Curry is a frozen meal that heats up in just a few minutes. The meal features dark meat chicken and loads of vegetables in a Thai curry sauce served over riced cauliflower.
I have tried, and liked, many of the Primal Kitchen sauces but this was my first time trying a Primal Kitchen frozen meal and I wasn’t sure what to expect.

How Does the Primal Kitchen Chicken Panang Curry Taste?
I have had some bad experiences with riced cauliflower so I went into this meal with low expectations.
Maybe going into things with low expectations should be my standard operating procedure because when I ate this meal I was absolutely blown away by how delicious it was.
Let’s start with what makes this chicken curry so great:
- Lots of Tender Vegetables
- Incredibly Coconut Curry
- Very filling
There was enough chicken in the meal to satisfy but the real focus was on the vegetables. There were large pieces of delicious zucchini and lots of broccoli and red peppers.
There was more than enough curry sauce to completely coat and soak the riced cauliflower. There was a ton of distinctive Thai flavor in every bite and the curry “hid” the cauliflower very well.
The seasoning was perfect and had just a little bit of spiciness.
This meal cost $7.99 which makes it the most expensive individual serving freezer meal that I have ever purchased. I would have to be cheeky to complain about the cost given the high quality of the meal.
I will absolutely buy this again.
